Blue Lake Capital adopts a unique investment approach driven by deep research and industry know how. The fund was founded by Mr. Ray Hu in 2014. The investment team consists of experienced venture capital investors, successful entrepreneurs, experts with industry operations background and other talents. Focusing on the innovations in China’s digital transformation, Blue Lake mainly invests in enterprise software and advanced manufacturing start-ups.

Blue Lake Capital currently manages both USD and RMB denominated funds. Our investor base is primarily global institutions with a long-term vision, including top U.S. university endowments, non-profit foundations, sovereign wealth funds, established family offices as well as successful entrepreneurs.

Since its inception, Blue Lake Capital has invested over 100 companies, more than 20 of which have become industry leaders, including Yiheda Automation (301029.SZ), Chaozhuo Aviation (688237.SH), Momenta, Jushuitan (JST), Moka, Zhenyun Technology and Cloud Helios. The portfolio companies have raised over RMB20 billion over the years in follow-up financing rounds. To date, Blue Lake Capital has been named as one of the “TOP 50 Best Foreign Venture Capital Firms in China” of CVAwards for a total of eight times.
